Isn't the company he works for a 'cover' company? So presumably his folks know where it may be based? Perhaps?

Presumably the care home that his Mum is in has contact details for him as well (as I'm assuming he is paying for it, somebody must be?) - so I guess they wrote to his Mum, found out she was in the care home and the care home passed the details on.

How did he know about the reunion?

They sent him a letter. They could have found him in many, many ways. Including the business he owns, or relatives.

I'm guessing he didn't want to keep in touch with anyone from High School, probably why he joined the Army. I'm sure his prom date didn't want to ever see him again. And then they all forgot about it. Happens all the time.

Wait...if I recall correctly, Marcella (Joan Cusak) receives the letter at the office and reads it to him over the phone. She gets an awful lot of enjoyment out of reading it to him. How do we know she didn't pull some strings to get him on the Grosse Pointe High mailing list, just to watch him squirm?

My 10 year H.S. reunion would have been this past spring. They didn't find me to send me an invite.
Overanalyze much? Alumni associations know. They just know.

yes, I spend my entire working life analysing stuff :)

So essentially are we in agreement that Alumni associations are omnipresent?

She does read it out to him, but how would she even know his background, he's a contract killer, his identity is one of his secrets? no?

I didn't get an invite to my 10 year reunion, which is good because it means I didn't have to think of a excuse not to go ;)
A contract killer who registers a business in his REAL name?

Also, how many Martin Blank's are there in the world I wonder?
Could be could be, tenuous but probably the most plausible.

I see where you guys are going with this, I think that the basis of my thing was if I had left school on prom night and disappeared there are plenty of my friends who I am sure would have tried to track me down, and if it was as easy as asking my mum... well anyone who knows my mum will know. she talks for England ;)

Thank you for all your comments peeps!
I watched this again yesterday. Excellent movie!
